Threads of Success award

In September, the team at Hadlow Community Preschool along with over 40 Preschool practitioners, gathered at the Threads of Success Improvement and Achievement Award ceremony in Maidstone.

The awards, presented by Gillian Cawley, Director Education, Quality and Standards in Kent County Council took place in Maidstone and recognized the intensive, year long, research projects conducted by nurseries and preschools across the County.

These projects focused on ‘Information Technology’, ‘improving the outdoors’, ‘mathematics’ and ‘language and communication’ and challenged settings to look critically at their own work and environment to ultimately improve the quality of life for Kent’s children.

Josephine Warwick, Manager of, Hadlow Community Preschool, said: “as a team we are really proud to have achieved this award. Our project was based on Information Technology and we worked hard to look at our practice and make improvements which will directly benefit the children we’re working with.”
